MAP & VSP TRAYS

rPET Plastic MAP Trays

Our fresh protein modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) trays protect, preserve, and bring out the visible appeal of fresh food products. These MAP barrier trays are recyclable and made in Canada with 100% recycled PET. This MAP system offers optimal and extended shelf life, and can be combined with our absorbent pads.

Rolled Edge Trays

This wide range of rolled edge, PET trays are designed to run on the full array of stretch wrap equipment in the market. They are recyclable and will make your product stand out from the competition.

CPET Trays

We offer a wide range of CPET trays that are applicable for frozen and chilled prepared meals, case-ready meat trays, bakery products and the food service industry.

Aluminum Trays

Our lineup of aluminum trays have a smooth rim, which allows each tray to be hermetically heat sealed on high speed packaging machines. With these trays there is no need for consumers to transfer food to a separate tray before putting it in the oven.

VSP Trays

Vacuum Skin Packaging (VSP) trays offer a versatile and compact footprint for easy single packaging. This packaging process extends shelf-life, while preserving the taste and texture of the product. Made with 100% post consumer recycled PET (rPET).

kp MonoSeal®

4. Our top of the range, sustainable PET base rigid film for form, fill and seal and skin packaging is kp MonoSeal® a mono PET film that is fully recyclable. With the strongest sealing capability in the market, it’s also 7% lighter than multi-layer films making it perfect for fresh food applications, from protein and cheese to pasta.

Barrier Lidding Films

KP’s market-leading range of fully coextruded high barrier top lidding films with anti-fog properties and superb transparency for tray sealing, and form, fill and seal thermoforming applications. Our shrink lidding films cleverly adapt and ‘shrink’ to shape to prevent the tray distorting throughout the product’s packaged life.

Stretch Shrink Films

Our Bolfresh® stretch shrink film is particularly suitable for the packing of fresh food products. Unlike traditional stretch film, it seals to prevent liquid leakage and contamination risks. Its antifog properties guarantee an attractive shelf presentation and its impact resistance reduces damage and product loss. This product comes in both barrier and non-barrier formats.

Vacuum Skin Packaging Films (VSP)

Polystyrene foam trays that provide the stiffness and consistency required by high speed packaging lines. These trays are compatible in running efficiently through all OSSID, OMORI, ULMA, FABBRI, DIGI and ISHIDA wrappers. Cascades’ EVOK brand of trays are manufactured using a minimum of 50% post consumer recycled content.

Specialty Lidding Films

Packaging films with peelable, lockup to CPET, PP, aluminum trays are available at HSP for a wide range of basic sealing applications. Our Dual-Ovenable lidding films are perfect for the packaging of your frozen foods, prepared meals, or any application that needs to be heated in an oven or microwave. Excellent clarity, customized peelability and superb heat resistance are just some of the wonderful attributes of these films.
